From Monday 7th October, Project Food will change its opening hours.
In order that we can reach more people across East Devon and be more focussed on helping them to improve their diet, Project Food has decided to adopt a 4-day week.
This means that we will be open from 9am-3pm on Mondays to Thursdays, but closed on Fridays.
We are very excited by this change as it will help us to spread our work more evenly across East Devon and South Somerset: we will be open at least 2 days a week at our premises in Ottery St Mary Hospital as well as 4 days in Axminster Hospital.
As we go forward with our new plan, we will be working more closely with children and young people (and their parents, when appropriate) and adults with or at risk of diet related disease. We will be doubling down on our work to provide personalised support to help people to improve their diet, so that they have better physical and mental health.
By adopting a 4-day week for the whole Charity, we will be able to work for more of the people of East Devon, becoming more efficient, and helping our staff (all currently part time) to work together more.
