Budgeting Basics with Cosmic UK!

We are excited to be teaming up with Cosmic UK to offer a ‘Budgeting Basics’ workshop.

This FREE morning session on Friday 14th July at 9.30am will help to give adults the essential skills and confidence to face the cost-of-living crisis head-on, improving their financial understanding with maths that’s practical, helpful, and easy to understand, as well as ensuring digital inclusion.

We want to work with people for which maths feels useless in their day-to-day lives, who have been held back in their employment, or who lack everyday skills for planning and managing personal finances as a result.

This project will turn all that around and show them how to set up budgets, tackle debt, and get on top of necessary life skills.

This workshop will explore –

  • Budget templates
  • Apps and tools available to help you budget
  • Ways to save
  • Planning for bills
  • Managing spending and saving
  • Cooking on a budget
  • Saving money on your weekly shop

Open to individuals in Devon who have not previously attained a GCSE Grade 4 or C or higher maths qualification.
